🤝 Welcoming an International Mission of Hope
Our Founder, Phoebe Faith Babirye, had the privilege of welcoming a mission team from the United States to Namumira Anthony Ward for a day of evangelism, community outreach, and charitable service. Led by Pastor Harriet, the team shared God's love while donating essential items including bread, sugar, soap, wheat flour, sanitary pads, diapers, and other basic necessities to families in need.
This meaningful outreach brought hope, encouragement, and practical support to many community members, demonstrating the power of compassion, faith, and global partnership in transforming lives.
🌱 Learning for Greater Impact (11 June 2026)
Our Founder, Phoebe Faith Babirye, is participating in an Agribusiness Workshop at the district level, demonstrating her commitment to continuous learning and community development. By gaining practical knowledge and innovative insights in agribusiness, she is strengthening her capacity to promote sustainable livelihoods, empower young people through agricultural entrepreneurship, and create greater economic opportunities for communities we serve.
We extend our sincere appreciation to HW for providing this valuable learning opportunity and investing in the growth of community leaders. Together, we are building a future where knowledge translates into action, resilience, and lasting impact for our youth and communities.
🤝 Giving Back to Children with Disabilities
On 7th June 2026, our founder, Phoebe Faith Babirye, is leading a team of students from Makerere University on a community outreach visit to Good Samaritan Home for Children with Disabilities. During the visit, the students are donating essential items including food supplies, diapers, and cash support, bringing hope, care, and encouragement to the children and staff at the home.

Honorable Phoebe Faith Babirye is taking the oath of office as Woman Councilor for Namumira Anthony Ward, Mukono Municipal Council, marking the beginning of a new chapter of leadership and service. Through this role, she is strengthening her commitment to community development, advocacy, and positive transformation.
✝️ Good Friday Reflection and Community Fellowship
On Good Friday, our Founder, Phoebe Faith, was honored to read scripture during a special gathering at Mukono Central Division, marking a moment of faith, reflection, and unity. The event was attended by community leaders, including the Mayor-Elect of Mukono Municipal Council, who is pictured alongside her.
This occasion reflects our continued commitment to spiritual values, community engagement, and servant leadership.
🕊️ Standing with Our Pupils in a Time of Loss
We joined the family of our pupils — Edrine, Edric, and Pora — during the burial of their father at Namakuma Village, Mukono District. The children, who are currently enrolled at Faith Kindergarten and Junior School, tragically lost their father in a motor accident. He was the family’s sole provider, leaving behind ten children, including a one-month-old baby.
Our Director, Phoebe, was present to offer comfort and counseling to the grieving pupils during this difficult time. As a school and community, we are committed to standing with these children, who now urgently need support for tuition, scholastic materials, and basic needs to secure their education and future.
🙏 Children’s Term Dedication Ceremony
As the new school term began, children of Faith Kindergarten and Junior School were dedicated in a special prayer session, committing the term into God’s guidance and care. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Pastor Ariku Moses for leading the dedication and blessing the children as they embark on a new academic journey.
❤️ Valentine’s Day Community Health Camp – Lweza Village
On Valentine’s Day, Baraka Uganda Development Initiative, in partnership with Avalon Medical Center Wantoni Mukono, organized a one-day community health camp in Lweza Village. The outreach provided essential services including blood donation, child immunization, antenatal care, HIV counseling and testing, STI screening and treatment, diabetes and high blood pressure testing, ulcer screening, eye care services, and more.
The event recorded an overwhelming community turnout, reflecting the urgent need for accessible healthcare services. We remain committed to extending similar health camps to more villages as resources become available.
Election Victory Announcement – Mukono Municipality
Our Founder, Phoebe Babirye Faith, was officially declared the winner in Mukono Municipality following the conclusion of the local government elections, as confirmed by the Electoral Commission results. This achievement reflects strong community trust, leadership, and commitment to public service.
Skilling Hub Impact: Empowering Women Through Life Skills (06 Jan 2025)
Baraka Uganda, in partnership with Warm Hearts Foundation, has successfully skilled over 100 women with practical life skills aimed at empowerment and self-reliance.
In the images below, CEO Phoebe is seen visiting the hairdressing class at the Nsuube Skilling Hub in Mukono District, where she spent quality time with the girls as they learned hands-on hairdressing techniques. The visit was filled with learning, encouragement, and shared joy, reflecting our commitment to building confidence, skills, and sustainable livelihoods for women in our communities.
🎉 Sharing New Year Joy with Children with Disabilities
CEO Phoebe Faith, together with her biological children, visited Good Samaritan School and Home for Children with Disabilities to celebrate the New Year in a spirit of love and inclusion. The team shared a New Year cake and donated essential and joyful items including diapers, an ice cream machine, bananas, biscuits, sweets, and refreshments, bringing smiles and happiness to the children.
End-of-Year Children’s Celebration – Mukono Municipality (23 December 2025)
Children gathered for a joyful end-of-year party filled with music, laughter, and celebration. The event featured special entertainment by Mayor Kabanda Robert, and a symbolic cake-cutting moment led by Founder Phoebe Faith, alongside Rev. Muyomba Edward and the RDC of Mukono Municipality, Madam Rhoda, celebrating hope, unity, and care for children.
On 31st October 2025, we visited elderly residents of Kitega and Kikooza villages, Mukono Central Division to provide essential items including soap, sugar, toilet paper, and food supplies.
